In past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched five joint clearance operations to clear some of the areas from terrorists and enemies of peace and stability of Afghanistan.

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA), The operations took place in Chaparhar and Achin districts of Nangarhar, Dolina district of Ghor, Khanshin district of Helmand and Kunduz city capital of Kunduz province, as a result 51 armed militants were killed, 28 wounded and one was arrested.

Weapons and vehicle belonging to the armed militants were also destroyed during the operations.

The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces have stepped up Counter-Terrorism operations to suppress the insurgency activities of the terror groups.
