An Afghan military base in Rigee area, the center of Farah province has been collapsed, killing at least eight police officers, local officials said.

AVA- Farah police commander, Gul Bahar Mujahed confirmed the incident and said, “There is the possibility that the eight police officers were killed by one of their colleagues. The base was collapsed without any clash and attack of the armed oppositions and one of the colleagues of the killed police officers is still missing.”

Mujahed noted the intelligence police have started an investigation to find the main reason.
