A 20-year-old woman died in hospital after falling from the fourth floor of a market building in the capital of northern Balkh province on Sunday morning, an official said.

AVA- Hitting the ground as she fell off the fourth floor, she was alive and was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries, Balkh police spokesman Sher Jan Durrani said.
He said the incident took place at around 8am in the limits of the 1st police district of Mazar-i-Sharif City.
Durrani said the floor was exclusively dedicated to English and computer classes, from where she had jumped off.
The motive behind the extreme step was yet to be ascertained, but police were investigating, he said.
