Police have arrested a young man on charges of raping her mother in western Heart province, an official said on Monday.

AVA- Abdul Ahad Walizadah, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the 24-year old was detained in the Nawabad area of the 13th police district on Wednesday.

The detainee’s mother confirmed her son had raped on her. Security forces have started interrogating the accused.
