12 civilians dead in Herat landmine explosion
A dozen civilians were killed on Sunday morning when a roadside bomb ripped through their vehicle in western Herat province, an official said.

AVA- Police spokesman Abdul Ahad Walizad told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion took place in Gulran district on a Saracha type vehicle at around 10:30am.

He said 12 individuals were killed and a 13th injured in the blast. The landmine was allegedly planted by militants.
