Kabul Municipality and MoF sign agreement to clear taxes of guild units
An agreement was signed between the Ministry of Finance and the Kabul Municipalility to clear the taxes and further facilitate the issuance and renewal of the licenses of the guild units.

AVA- The acting Kabul mayor Abdullah Habibzai said the main purpose of the agreement is to establish an environment of cooperation between the municipality and the ministry of finance to clean up and cancel the licenses of the guild units subject to their tax clearance.

Habibzai further added that according to tax laws all licensing agencies, including Kabul Municipality, are required to comply with extension and cancellation of business licenses upon receipt of tax clearance certificate issued by tax authorities.

He said there was no relation between the Kabul Municipality and the Ministry of Finance before this and today’s signing agreement removes the gap.

According to Habibzai, there are 136,000 classes in different sectors that will set up the municipal police in different parts of the city to enforce the law and enforce the provisions of this agreement.

In the meantime, the deputy finance minister Najibulah WArdak said simplifying the process of licensing and tax clearance, raising the profile of  classes , identifying the new classes, and implementing the same and more effective laws in the garrison sector will be one of the effectiveness of this memorandum.

According to Wardak, this year, around 3.4 billion Afghanis have been earned from classes and some other small financial companies.
