Top Pakistani Taliban leader killed in East of Afghanistan
A top Pakistani Taliban leader Khan Sayed Sajna has reportedly been killed in an airstrike in eastern Paktika province of Afghanistan.

AVA- The local officials have confirmed that Khan Sayed Sajna was killed in an airstrike conducted by the US unmanned aerial vehicles in the vicinity of Paktika province.

There are also reports that nine associates and comrades of Sajna were also killed in the airstrike but the Pakistani Taliban militants have not commented regarding the report so far.

Sajna was reportedly in lead of the Mehsud faction of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan and was accused of major attacks in Pakistan.

In the meantime, the Associated Press has reported that seven militants were killed on Thursday in a drone strike in the Pakistani border village of Gorwak in North Waziristan.

Earlier, on Friday, reports emerged suggesting that three militants affiliated with the Haqqani terrorist network were killed in US drone strike in North Waziristan.

There has been a rise in US drone strikes along the Durand Line and in the tribal regions of Pakistan since the announcement of the new strategy for South Asia by President Donald Trump in August last year.
