India’s first female superstar Sridevi dies at age 54
The Indian film cinema, Bollywood’s, prominent film actress who was famous as the first female superstar of the Indian cinema, has died at the age of 54.
AVA- According to the local media reports, Sridevi died on Sunday night in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates.

Her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor has confirmed that the actress died of a cardiac arrest.

Sridevi was reportedly with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi at the time of death. They were with the entire Kapoor family in UAE to attend the wedding ceremony of Mohit Marwah, according to the Indian Express.

Sridevi was born in 1963 and started a career in the film industry in 1979.

The actress was also famous among the lovers of the Indian fil cinema and is particularly remebered for her roles in Mr India and Khuda Gawah.

The film Khuda Gawah was released in 1992 which was based on the story of an Afghan lord caught between love and revenge, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi.
