A man has killed three members of his own family in Jalalabad city, the provincial capital of eastern Nangahrar, in what appears to be a brutal murder incident involving domestic violence.

AVA- The provincial government media office in a statement said the incident took place late on Sunday night in the vicinity of the 5th police district of the city after a man identified as Abdul Haq, brutally murdered his wife, his mother-in-law, and father-in-law.
The statement further added that Haq is originally a resident of Shirzad district and the brutal killing apparently had links with domestic violence.
According to the governor’s office in Nangarhar, the perpetrator has been arrested by police and has confessed that the three individuals were shot dead by a pistol.
In the meantime, the provincial government said an investigation is underway regarding the incident as the perpetrator is being questioned regarding the brutal murder case
Provincial governor Mohammad Gulab Mangal expressed grief regarding the incident and instructed the relevant authorities to thoroughly investigate the incident.
