Kabul police thwart magnetic bomb explosion in the city

AVA- A source in Kabul Police Commandment said a magnetic bomb was discovered and defused in the vicinity of the 5th police district of the city before the militants manage to detonate it.
The source further added that the bomb was planted in Qala-e-Wazir area of the city but the possible target has not been ascertained so far.
The anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban militants have not commented regarding the report so far.
This comes as the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) last week thwarted a deadly bomb explosion in capital Kabul by discovering and defusing a homemade improvised explosive device from a shrine.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials are saying that the improvised explosive device was discovered from a shrine in Chahar Asiab district.
The officials further added that the bomb was planted in Qala-e-Jarnil shrine and was defused before the militants manage to use for a deadly blast.
