The sound of an explosion was heard in Kabul city amid reports the blast has taken place close to a school in the 13th police district in the west of the city.

The type of the explosion has not been ascertained so far and there are no reports regarding the possible casualties.
Eyewitnesses are saying that the blast has taken place close to a school where a center was opened to register the voters for the upcoming elections.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.
