Saleh reacts at the alleged killing of Pakistani Military ex-DGMO in Afghanistan
The former Chief of the Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security (NDS), Amrullah Saleh, reacted at the alleged killing of former Director General of Military of Operations of Pakistan, General (Retired) Shahid Aziz in Afghanistan.

Reports regarding the killing of Aziz were apparently broken by one of the print medias in Pakistan.
Citing the media report, Pakistan Today, reported that has been killed in Afghanistan some time ago but no further information been given in this regard.
However, the former top Pakistani General’s son has confirmed to the media outlets in Pakistan that reports circulating regarding his father are not true.
The former Pakistani Army Chief General (r) Pervez Musharraf had earlier said that Shahid Aziz had grown a beard and gone to Syria, according to Pakistan Today.
Citing the sources of the privy of the development, Musharraf had also added that Gen. (r) Aziz had been killed in Syria.
Shahid Aziz served in Pakistan army for 37 years and retired in 2005. While being in the army, he remained as the DGMO, the chief of general staff and Lahore corps commander.
