Superstition is those stories narrated in parties based not on intellect and religion which take root from the ancients' habits and wrong dream.

Hashemi added Islam has fought against superstition since its advents.

Islam preached religion and intellect oriented method of life stopped a great number of superstitions. God described the holy prophet and his followers "The proofs of those follow the holy prophet are accepting the moral actions and keeping aloof of superstition, one of the holy prophet duties is fighting against superstition."

Pointing to the Quran verse, he said a number of ignorant people accept baseless words and they get misled and ridicule the God verses so they will go to hell.

Hashemi pointed Imam Sadegh (Pbuh) saying that "those who accept superstition do not believe in any holy books and one of the problems of any society is superstition."
