Herat, (AVA)- The chairman of Islamic brotherhood council in Herat said not only was Imam Khomeini the Iran leader, but he was also the helper of the world poor and oppressed people.
While pointing to the Imam Khomeini goals, Maulavi Sayed Ahmad Akhond Zada said Imam Khomeini solved the Shia-Sunny differences.
He quoted the Imam Khomeini goals as saying that Shia and Sunny was brother.
According to Maulavi Akhond Zada, Imam Khomeini mobilized the Muslim against the World Imperialism through eliminating the Islam World borders and limits and implementing unity.
Pointing to the Islamic Awakening, he said the current awakening of Islamic nations is the result of the Imam Khomeini's ideals and guides.
The chairman of Islamic brotherhood council in Herat said Imam Khomeini's guides affected on Afghan resistance against the former Soviet Union invasion resulted in the former Soviet Union failure in Afghanistan.
He stated that the honoring ceremonies for Imam Khomeini demise should be held more pompously and Herat Shia and Sunny residents hold such ceremony every year negatively influencing the enemies.
