5 rockets fired from Afghanistan land in NWA

Five rockets fired from Afghanistan’s territory landed in the border area in the Ghulam Khan tehsil in North Waziristan, Pakistani official sources said on Sunday.

The sources said the rockets were fired from Afghanistan and had landed in Bangidar area in the Ghulam Khan tehsil. They said no loss of life or damage to property was reported as the rockets fell in an unpopulated area.

Meanwhile, the political administration of North Waziristan imposed curfew in North Waziristan for an indefinite period.Due to the curfew, the Bannu-Miranshah Road, Miranshah-Razmak Road and Miranshah-Dattakhel Road would remain closed for traffic. The markets in Miranshah and Mir Ali towns would also be closed.
