Afghan president issues order that calls for expansion of a Hindu rest house

AVA- Ghani has instructed authorities to sell out the commercial area near the Dharamsala in Sultan Pur village of Surkhrod district to ensure safety of the religious place.

The area is apparently has been given on lease. The order has called for cancellation of the lease contract.

Separately, President Ghani presented a sword to Anarkalai Honaryar, the female Sikh representative in the Afghan Senate, in show of his attention to religious minorities.
