Afghanistan Foreign Minister’s visit to Baku postponed
The visit of Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Zarar Ahmad Osmani to Azerbaijan has been postponed, diplomatic sources told APA.

The visit planned for March 5-7, has reportedly been postponed due to the armed incident with Taliban fighters on Afghanistan-Pakistan border.

Due to the incident, President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai cancelled his visit to Sri Lanka.
Zarar Ahmad Osmani is expected to visit Azerbaijan on March 18-19.

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Dashgin Shikarov confirmed the report, adding that the date of the visit is being specified though diplomatic channels.

At least 11 were killed in the terrorist attack in Khyber on Afghanistan-Pakistan border on March 1. Earlier, Taliban fighters killed 20 servicemen, took 7 as hostage.
