AVA- Five policemen manning a check-post were killed and eight others wounded in a Taliban attack in southern Ghazni province on Saturday, an official said.
the militants attacked the check-post in Bagh-i-Attar area between Jaghori and Qarabagh districts.
five police personnel were killed and eight others wounded. Reinforcements arrived at the site and repulsed the attack. The militants also suffered casualties, but Noori was unaware of the exact figures.
There has been no comment so far from the Taliban about the attack.
