AVA- The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani received Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and his delegation Monday morning, Presidential Palace.
Both sides discussed regional cooperation and counter-terrorism efforts. Also, they described the new U.S. strategy as a good opportunity for the regional stability and peace, stressing that the prevailing opportunity should be utilized for building peace and stability in the region.
The two leaders also talked over continued bilateral strategic cooperation in different fields of development.
On behalf of Prime Minister of India, Ajit Doval invited President Ghani for an official visit to India to which the President agreed.
