A key Taliban insurgent involved in a number of attacks in Kabul was arrested Monday, officials said.

AVA_Muhammadullah was arrested by police during an operation in Marshal Valley of Maidan Wardak province, west of Kabul, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
He was involved in planning and coordinating suicide attacks in Kabul.
One attack involved a rocket attack on Arghundi area, west of the city that burned two cargo vehicles and injured three civilians, according to the statement.
The militant was seized with 10 mortar rounds and other ammunition, planning to carry out an attack in the same area.
