In Herat capital of the province, the Sala al-Jumu'aht was perfumed in Masjed-e Jāmé where the chief of Ulama council in west as a speech maker called for making monetary or food contribution to poor and needy persons.
"Ramadan serves as a great opportunity to worship the God, recite Quran and purify. It is a month when we can make a full perfection." said Moulawi Khodadad Saleh as a political-devotional Friday prayer chief Imam.
Defining Ramadan as something burning, he hoped all fast obtainer's sin to be cleaned.
Those who are richer should make contribution to needy families, orphans, disabled and martyred servivors he said
He also urged fasting Muslims to pay Zakat since Zakat is one of the basis of Islam.
To make it a continuous habit fir Muslims to worship the God, behave well and purify themselves Ramadan is the best chance the chief of Ulama council in west said.
