Three Australian special forces soldiers have been wounded during an operation in Afghanistan's Uruzgan province on the weekend. 

Defence media says two soldiers were shot and have been flown to Tarin Kot, where they are in a satisfactory condition.
 
One was hit in the leg, the other in the hand. 

They will both come back to Australia for further treatment.
 
The details of the injury to the third soldier have not been provided but Defence says the soldier has made a full recovery.
