Two Taliban Leaders Killed in Ghazni Airstrike
Two Taliban leaders were killed in a foreign airstrike in eastern Ghazni province early on Saturday, local officials said.

The airstrike took place in the Andar district of the province in which two key Taliban leaders Wasiqullah and Mullah Bashir were killed, said Nazifullah Sultani, a commander of the army's 203rd Tandar corp.

There were no civilian casualties in the strike, he said.

Foreign troops have not yet commented about the airstrike yet.

Three other Taliban insurgents were killed in Afghan forces operations in the district early on Saturday and three other were injured, Sultani said.

The operation was conducted in the district to clear the insurgents, he said.

There were no civilian casualties during the raid, he added.

The Taliban have not yet commented about the operations.
