In meeting of the Afghanistan people religious needs, Ayat-o-llah Makarem Shirazi by issuing a Hokm, appointing letter, appointed Seyyed Esa Hosseini Mazari, the head of the Tebian cultural-political activities center, Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) and the general editor of Ensaf newspaper, as his representative in entire of Afghanistan.

Ayat-o-llah Makarem Shirazi has been one of the most eminent Mojtahids, clergyman practicing religious jurisprudence, who has great number of followers.

The essentiality of dealing with religious, cultural and social issues of Afghanistan people has necessitated appointing the plenipotent representative in Afghanistan to answer the people religious affairs and to preach the Ayat-o-llah Makarem Shirazi thoughts to develope the relation of Aghanistan people and Mojtahidins.

According to Afghan Voice Agency (AVA), addressing Hosseini Mazari by Hokm, appointing letter, Ayat-o-llah Makarem Shirazi said due to your qualifications and your clean record in religious preaching, you are my representative in entire of Afghanistan especially Kabul to deal with people religious issues.

The exact text of Hokm is as below:

Dear scholar Hojjat-ol-Eslam Wal Moslemin Seyyed Esa Hosseini Mazari

Hello!

Due to your qualifications and your clean record in religious preaching, you are appointed as my representative in entire of Afghanistan especially Kabul to deal with people religious issues. Furthermore, if you deem it necessary to expand your functions, you will be allowed to open an office in Kabul, other areas of Afghanistan and take necessary measures. God might help you through serving the Muslims and Shia in Afghanistan.
