The statement further added that the Afghan nation understands the pain of the families of the victims, being the victim of the terrorist groups and terror attacks for the past several decades.
The Afghan government also called for joint and concentrated efforts to eliminate the menace of terrorism threatening the world.
The incident in Al-Rawda mosque took place on Friday afternoon after the militants detonated explosives near the mosque and started shooting the fleeing worshippers afterwards.
According to the Egyptian officials, at least 235 people were killed and more than 100 others were wounded in the attack.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident so far.
This comes as the Egyptian security forces are busy in counter-terrorism operations against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group in Sinai Peninsula.
