Two persons were killed and 10 others sustained injures as a bicycle bomb struck Ghazni city, the capital of Ghazni province, 125 km south of Kabul on Wednesday, the deputy to provincial police chief said.
"The terrorists planted explosive device on a bicycle and the device exploded in a crowded area of Ghazni city at noontime, killing two persons including a military one and a civilian and injuring 10 others including a military and nine civilians," Assadullah Safi said.
He also put the attack on the enemies of peace, a reference to the Taliban insurgents. However, the armed outfit has yet to make comment.
A day earlier on Tuesday a blast in the northwestern Maimana city killed 17 people injured 48 others. Xinhua
