Mohammad Karim Khalili Second Vice-President met with some in charges of pilgrims’ travel agencies in his office, yesterday.
According to publication office of Foreign Ministry to BNA, the visitors thanked Khalili for resolving the problems in sending of the Afghan pilgrims to Iraq and stressed that this measure of the Afghan government in reality created facility for the Afghans going to visit holy shrines in Iraq.
They also expressed pleasure over the cooperation of Foreign and Interior, Hajj and Endowment Ministries for creation of facilities for the pilgrims urging further cooperation of the government authorities to facilitate easy access to the Arianna Afghan Airlines flights to Iraq and in resolving of some security limitations of the Iraqi government.
Khalili expressed pleasure over creation of facilities by the Iraqi government for the Afghan pilgrims, expressed the hope that the ground is paved for direct flights between Kabul and Baghdad for the Afghan pilgrims.
He added that in order to resolve the pilgrims problems, the government solely assigned the Ministry of Hajj and Endowment for regulating this issue while other government organs will also cooperate in this sphere.
