During the past 24 hours, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army, NDS and Coalition Forces launched five joint clearance operations in Ghazni, Paktiya, Kunduz and Uruzgan provinces.

As a result of these operations, four armed Taliban were arrested by Afghan National Security Forces.

Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered, confiscated and defused three AK-47 rifles, one rocket launcher, six anti-vehicle mines, 500 kilos of ammonium nitrate and two motorcycles.

Additionally, Afghan National Police discovered and defused one roadside mine, one rocket launcher with 18 rockets in Faryab and Kunar provinces yesterday.

The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained six suspects accused of murder and theft in the Bagrami, 5th, 10th and 15th Districts of Kabul-City.
