The media tournament titled "Narcotic Counter" started

Kabul, (AVA)- The media futsal competition titled "Narcotic Counter" honoring the Ramadan month started last night.

The tournament started with 2 matches, American university v Negah and TV3 v Rah-e-Farda, in American university gymnasium in southwestern Afghanistan.

The American university defeated Negah by 9-3 and Rha-e-Farda won the competition with TV3 by 6-3.

Ariana is going to counter Meivand and Khorshid competes with Nour.

17 teams divided in 4 groups and 2 matches held per night.

The aim of tournament are honoring the Ramadan month, counter the narcotics and choosing the best media team.

The tournament finishes at Ramadan 29 and the winner and runner up teams, the top scorer, the best player, the ethic team and the best goalkeeper will be awarded by the deputy of narcotic counter and the competition holder committee.

The Afghanistan deputy of technical affairs of football federation, Yasin Mohammadi, said holding such tournament can make football as a culture across the country.

He added the football federation supports every measure to improve Afghanistan football.

Tamaddon TV was the last winner of this tournament.
