Afghan National Police conducted an operation in Khanshin District of Helmand province yesterday.

As a result of this operation, 30 poppy farmers were arrested and 120 acre of poppy land was destroyed.

Also, during this operation, Afghan National Police discovered and defused four anti-vehicle mines which were placed by the enemies of peace and stability in the main road of the Khanshin District of Helmand province.

Ministry of Interior Affairs is committed to fight against narcotics and Afghan National Counternarcotics Police had major achievements in fighting against smugglers and narcotics recently.
