This morning, the atmosphere around the holy shrine of Hazrat Ali (AS) in Najaf Ashraf was filled with the passion and spirituality of the pilgrims. From the early hours, the processions around the shrine were welcoming the pilgrims by offering Iraqi tea, fresh bread, and a light breakfast. The pilgrims moved calmly, with remembrance and prayer, from the alleys and streets leading to the shrine towards the holy courtyard. The sound of praise from some processions and the quiet hum of the caravans gave a special and spiritual atmosphere to the path.
