Ava News Agency – Minab: Following the conclusion of the press conference, the families of the martyrs and attendees headed to the Student Martyrs' Cemetery; where, in the afternoon and evening of Thursday, May 21, 2026, coinciding with Friday eve, grieving mothers and fathers, brothers, and relatives of the martyrs had gathered beside the graves of their children, keeping the memory of their loved ones alive with tears, prayers, and the whispering of the Quran. One still wept in longing for her schoolgirl daughter; another sat at the grave of his only son; and yet another father had lost both his wife and child in that crime. The Minab Martyrs' Cemetery was a narrative of countless wounds that, nearly two months after that attack, still remain fresh in the hearts of the families.
How Did America Not See the School's Paintings?
At the "1+168" campaign ceremony, Zahra Haj Hosseini, one of the surviving teachers of the February 28, 2026, attack on the "Shajara Tayyiba" School in Minab, recounted her account of the terrifying moments of that day.
Haj Hosseini said: "After the first explosion, I quickly rushed to the classroom and contacted all the parents to come and take the children. At 11:20, a horrific sound echoed throughout the school. With effort, I opened the classroom door, and about five seconds later, I heard the sound of the second and third explosions; sounds that were drawing closer and becoming more terrifying with every moment."
She continued: "I struggled to my feet and saw with my own eyes how the second floor of the school collapsed onto the first floor."
This surviving teacher, posing a critical question, added: "How did America not see the school's paintings? Don't they say America has the most advanced surveillance tools?"
She concluded by emphasizing: "Now, my responsibility extends beyond being a teacher at a school in Minab; I must convey the voice of these children's oppression to the entire world."
God Kept Me Alive So I Can Avenge the Blood of My Friends
Meanwhile, a student from Minab stated at the ceremony: "Those who remain silent are as guilty as those who committed this crime."
This student of the Shajara Tayyiba School added: "I remained a student of the Shajara Tayyiba School to be the voice of my martyred brothers and sisters."
Another student from Minab said: "Those who caused the destruction of our school were America and Israel."
He added: "God kept me alive so I can avenge the blood of my friends and make Iran proud. We will rise again and rebuild our school."
Global Arrogance, the Prime Accused in Crimes Against Children
Meanwhile, Ali Nikou, Secretary of the "1+168" campaign, stated in reaction to the recent events in Minab: "What is happening to oppressed children today is part of the puzzle of organized crimes of global arrogance, which deliberately targets civilians and children, using these atrocities as a tool in the arena of international politics."
The Narrative of Iran's "Document of Oppression" and "Document of Authority"
On the other hand, according to Morteza Karamouzian, Head of the Media Basij of the Islamic Republic of Iran, speaking to journalists, the media activists present in this program are pursuing two grand narratives; the first, "Iran's Document of Oppression," dedicated to the incident at the Shajara Tayyiba School in Minab, and the second, "Iran's Document of Authority," pertaining to the issue of controlling the Strait of Hormuz; a strait that, according to him, will always belong to Iran.
He continued: "Based on the planned schedule, the media activists will visit the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, May 22, 2026, and prepare a report on the new route and corridor that the Islamic Republic of Iran has charted for the passage of international ships."
