Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Finally, after more than 460 days of Israel's unequal war against the Islamic Hamas movement and the creation of countless crimes, murder and massacre of the people of Gaza, brutality and destruction, the Zionist regime agreed to a ceasefire and admitted its defeat against the Palestinian resistance. Israel, which in the first days of the invasion of Gaza, dreamed of destroying Hamas, but after many efforts and expending all its energy and strength, not only did it not achieve its goal, but the Hamas group, after almost a year and a half of resistance and breathtaking battle, yesterday raised the banner of victory and, in a face-to-face negotiation and agreement resulting from this meeting, is now imposing its demands on the occupying regime, and this authority will remain in human history.
Political experts also describe this ceasefire as a kind of victory of the Palestinian resistance led by Hamas against the Zionist regime and consider Israel defeated, hated and abandoned by the nations of the world.
University professor Lotfullah Haqparast said in an interview with AVA: It is the law of the world that every war ultimately leads to peace and reconciliation, but the oppression that the Zionist regime committed on the people of Palestine and Gaza is unforgettable.
According to Haqparast, it would have been much better if, when the ceasefire with Hezbollah was reached, a ceasefire agreement was also reached with Hamas at the same time, ending the Zionist regime's further war-making in the Middle East, but unfortunately, this did not happen.
He welcomes the current ceasefire in Gaza, but he calls on the United Nations, cultural organizations, and countries that have played a role in this ceasefire to obtain a firm commitment and guarantee from the Zionist regime not to violate the ceasefire, because this regime does not adhere to any of the international laws, as it violated the ceasefire with Hezbollah several times in Lebanon, and this violation may be repeated again.
He continued: Muslims are not in favor of war at all, they do not even want there to be conflict and war between non-Islamic countries, right now people are not happy with the war between Ukraine and Russia, and there should be peace in the world and humanity should live in peace.
According to Haqparast, humanity today dictates that the war between Ukraine and Russia must end, despite the fact that this war is between two non-Islamic countries, but killing, destruction, and people fleeing their homeland and land are inherently inhumane, so we want security and peace both in Palestine and in other parts of the world.
The university professor added that Palestine, which is being oppressed and violated today, is the duty of all countries in the world to support it and turn the temporary ceasefire into a permanent one so that the Palestinian people no longer suffer.
Haqparast emphasized that it is not unlikely that Israel will violate the ceasefire, therefore international organizations must seriously pursue the case and obtain the necessary commitments from Israel so that no violation occurs and the ground for a lasting ceasefire is prepared.
Haqparast added that the Zionist regime, which has tolerated great cruelty against the people of Gaza for one and a half years and showed no mercy to its young followers, children, and women, will not have mercy on them and will be punished from the point of view of divine law.
Meanwhile, political analyst Khalil Ahmed Nadeem said in an interview with AVA that the Gaza war was a test for Israel, which could have occupied more important and strategic areas, but this goal was not achieved.
According to him, Israel tried with all its might and energy, with the support of the United States, to expand the occupied territory and destroy the Hamas movement for a year and a half, but it could not break the will of the Palestinian people and the resistance continued.
He considered the failure after a year and a half a lesson for Israel, saying: The Palestinian resistance led by the Hamas movement showed the world that they want freedom and will not accept aggression and occupation in any way.
He also said that the Palestinian resistance led by Hamas is also a lesson for Arab countries that can stand by the Palestinian people in the future and support them in the United Nations as an independent Palestinian state.
In an interview with AVA, religious scholar Javed Sarwari welcomed the ceasefire in Gaza and said that many countries support the ceasefire because it was not a disaster in Gaza, but a crisis and tragedy, and many free people condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime.
According to him, since the beginning of the "Al-Aqsa Storm", the nations of the world have supported the Palestinian people, holding large rallies and gatherings, which in fact demonstrated the legitimacy of the Palestinian people in defending their land and the open aggression of the Zionist regime since the beginning of the war.
According to him, Hamas is a small but at the same time resistant and tenacious group that was not destroyed despite all the efforts of the Zionist regime and continued to resist after 15 months of fighting, until finally a ceasefire was reached and Hamas is the winner of this battle.
In response to whether this temporary ceasefire will lead to a lasting peace or not, he asked: He said: "The possibility of this ceasefire lasting is high, because Israel failed to destroy Hamas after 15 months of fighting and was defeated, so the continuation of the ceasefire is in their interest."
A ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas has been reached after more than 460 days of devastating war in Gaza. The ceasefire includes three phases: a halt to fighting, a prisoner exchange, a withdrawal of Israeli forces, and the return of Palestinian refugees.
The first phase will last six weeks and will include a limited prisoner exchange and the entry of humanitarian aid. The second and third phases, the details of which are still unclear, will involve further negotiations.
