Afghan equipment is not used against Pakistan / Pakistan
Following the recent statements of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry that the weapons left behind by the US and NATO in Afghanistan are being used against the country, political and military experts say that the equipment and weapons left behind by the American occupation forces are being strictly protected and maintained at all levels and layers, and Pakistan's concerns are mostly related to the internal insurgencies in the country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Pakistani Foreign Ministry issued a statement yesterday expressing concern about the advanced military equipment left behind by the US and NATO in Afghanistan, saying that Pakistan fears that these weapons will fall into the hands of undesirable individuals and terrorists.

The ministry also said that the equipment left behind by foreign forces in Afghanistan is being used by terrorist organizations, including the (TTP) in Pakistan.

These concerns are raised at a time when political and military experts consider the equipment left behind by the US and NATO in Afghanistan to be protected and safe, and emphasize that these weapons will not fall into the hands of terrorists and undesirable individuals.

Political analyst Fazlur Rahman Oriya said in an interview with Ava that the weapons left behind by the Western occupation forces in Afghanistan are completely safe and will not be used against any country.

Oriya stated that the equipment left behind by the US and NATO belongs to Afghanistan and added: These weapons are protected and maintained at all levels and Pakistan's concerns are unfounded.

According to Oriya, Pakistan is expressing concerns about the presence of weapons in Afghanistan while large factories producing light and heavy weapons of various types exist inside the country and are available in open markets.

According to this political expert, right now, when there are liberation battles in Pakistan, all their equipment and ammunition are being procured from arms sales markets inside Pakistan.

Stating that Pakistan should first address its own internal security, Oriya added: Islamabad’s concern is actually more about the country itself, not Afghanistan.

According to Oriya, “The Pakistani government does not see its own country and the shortcomings of its society, and it always blames Afghanistan and blames Afghanistan, which shows the extreme weakness of its management.”

Pakistan’s problem is not in obtaining weapons from Afghanistan, but in internal insurgencies that are rooted in society.

Political and military expert Asadullah Nadeem also said in an interview with Ava that Pakistan’s main problem is not where weapons are procured from, but rather insurgencies that are actually rooted in society.

Nadeem emphasized that the main culprit in this is some Pakistani institutions that tried to invest in exporting extremism to some countries in the region and thus benefit from it, but now extremism and terrorism have taken hold of themselves.

He called the Pakistani Foreign Ministry's concern about Afghanistan unfounded and said: If Pakistani rebels or freedom-seekers want to obtain weapons, they will obtain them from the free markets that exist inside Pakistan and there is no need for Afghan weapons.

It is worth noting that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has not yet reacted to the new announcement by the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, but it has previously always denied the presence of the (TTP) and its support in Afghanistan.

The new US President Donald Trump had also claimed a day before his inauguration that he would return the equipment left behind in Afghanistan from this country, but this claim was considered illogical by Islamic Emirate officials, who also said that the remaining equipment would not be returned.
