We are in talks with Iran, Pakistan and Turkey about the fate of Afghan refugees
The spokesman of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in an interview with Ava reporter, said that the ministry has been in contact with all host countries, including Pakistani and Iranian officials, and has held important negotiations on refugees. He said talks had also been held with Turkish officials and a government delegation had now gone to Turkey to resolve the problems of Afghan refugees.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: As the process of deportation of Afghan migrants from host countries, especially Iran, Pakistan and Turkey, increases, Abdul Muttalib Haqqani, spokesman for the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates, told AVA: He is struggling with various problems.

"The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates, according to its responsibility, is in constant contact with all host countries, including Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and talks have been held about the refugees," Haqqani said.

"In addition to Iran and Pakistan, talks have been held with Turkish officials about the fate of Afghan refugees and a government delegation has already traveled to Turkey for this purpose, to see the problems of refugees up close and share them with Turkish officials," he said.

"Iran has imposed some restrictions on migrants and migrants in Pakistan are facing similar problems, but our demand is that the issue of migrants is a bilateral issue and any action taken in this regard should be taken in full coordination with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, so that the rights of migrants are not violated and not in the interest of both countries," the spokesman said. Let it be.”

"Currently, most of the migrants that Iran is forcibly deporting are those who have entered the country illegally and want to go to European countries," he said.

"The deportation of illegal Afghan migrants by Iran will not have any negative impact on Afghanistan and they will eventually be reunited with their families after returning," Haqqani said.

He urged all refugees living in Iran, Pakistan, Turkey and other countries to return to their country voluntarily, saying that "there is comprehensive security throughout Afghanistan and there is a lot of capacity."

Tolerate illegal immigrants
These statements come as Sayed Morteza Hashemi, one of the Afghan migrants in Iran, told Ava that Iran's laws against illegal immigrants are becoming stricter day by day.
He asks the Islamic Emirate to talk to Iranian authorities to make it easier for those who have gone to Iran to work.
According to Hashemi; Many people are in Iran illegally, but all of them have traveled here out of compulsion and to work, not for any other purpose.

This is while on the one hand, given the insignificant international aid to the Islamic Republic of Iran to serve refugees, and the cruel sanctions imposed by the US and the West against Iran, and on the other hand, the excessive increase in the number of Afghan refugees in the country, Iran has declared that it has no capacity to accept illegal and new refugees. The president and senior officials have stressed the need to return illegal immigrants with respect for human dignity and ethics

Afghan prisoners transferred from Iranian and Pakistani prisons
On the other hand, the transfer of Afghan prisoners from Iranian and Pakistani prisons, especially those sentenced to death, is another issue that is being discussed between Afghanistan and neighboring countries these days.
The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates announced on Sunday that Pakistan has released 239 Afghan prisoners, including 141 who have returned to Afghanistan.
The officials of the Torkham port also confirmed the news, saying a few days ago that the Pakistani government had handed over 141 Afghan prisoners, including men, women and children, to their office through the port.
The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates announced that 42 Afghan citizens had been released from Pakistani prisons and returned to the country, including women and children who had been detained from different parts of Pakistan for lack of documents.
The Ministry of Refugees said in a statement that the prisoners were released from Haji Camp prison and transferred to their provinces after returning to Afghanistan and receiving humanitarian aid.
Recently, thousands of Afghans who were detained in Pakistan for lack of legal documents have been released from Pakistani prisons and returned to Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, after Abdul Malik Haqqani, Deputy Chief Justice of Afghanistan, and his delegation met with Kazem Gharibadi, Deputy Chief of International Affairs of the Iranian Judiciary, on the extradition of Afghan prisoners and Iran's leniency towards prisoners sentenced to death, the Supreme Court of the Islamic Emirate, stated that Iran would Hand over the Afghan prisoner to them.
