Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Religious and cultural affairs experts today (March 11) in an interview with AVA) pointed out the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan and considered it the best opportunity for collective cooperation and the growth of moral and faith indicators of Muslims.
In this interview, Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Sayed Zia Zia, a religious affairs expert, emphasized the importance and special status of Ramadan and said: “The month of Ramadan is the month of hospitality for the nation of the Prophet (PBUH) and it enjoys special respect.”
He added that fasting does not only mean abstaining from eating and drinking, but also includes self-control and self-improvement.
Hojjatoleslam Zia also pointed out the virtuous supplications of this month and said that the revelation of the Holy Quran in this month has turned it into the spring of the Quran.

The religious scholar continued by pointing out the important tradition of helping and giving to others during the month of Ramadan and said: "One of the social effects of this month is the reduction of crimes. European research has shown that fasting people have more inner peace and happiness than other people."

Meanwhile, Mohammad Juma Ahmadi, a university professor and religious affairs expert, also considered the month of Ramadan an opportunity to strengthen human relations and promote empathy in society in this interview.
In his opinion, Muslims should pay more attention to kindness and compassion during this month than ever before, and he emphasized that: "Hoarding and overselling are not only unacceptable, but also, in these special days, are completely against human and Islamic principles."
He also emphasized the importance of implementing the duty of enjoining good and forbidding evil, and said that this duty is the duty of all Muslims, both Shiites and Sunnis.
Referring to the role of the government in controlling prices, Mohammad Juma Ahmadi said that the government has the duty to provide the necessary conditions for observing fairness and justice in the market.
