Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: While tensions between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America continue, today (Friday, April 11) students and social activists said in an interview with AVA that the two countries have unofficially entered into a widespread psychological war.
Aala Sarfaraz, a social activist, added in this interview that the United States is in practice engaged with the resistance front and at the same time is engaged in a psychological war with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He considered the role of the United States in the global economy to be mainly through its influence on the currency market, especially the dollar, and added that Iran is also considered one of the important players in determining the stability or instability of the world economy by influencing the global energy market, especially oil, and in the event of a war between these two countries, the global economy will face an unprecedented shock.
Sarfaraz mentioned America's dependence on the oil resources of Arab countries and the vital role of this artery in the global energy market, and said that in the event of a war, cutting off this route could sharply increase the price of oil and affect countries dependent on imports, including Afghanistan.
This social activist stated that the United States has faced fundamental challenges in political and ideological terms with a part of the Islamic world, and said that the experience of attacking Iraq and Afghanistan and the destruction of infrastructure and human casualties are examples of America's strict interaction with the countries of the region.
However, he believes that the United States does not have the ability and courage to directly attack Iran due to its lack of full knowledge of Iran's military and missile capabilities, as well as fear of the reaction of Iran's allied groups such as Ansarullah Yemen, Hezbollah Lebanon and Hamas.
Alaa Sarfaraz emphasized that if a military conflict officially begins between the two countries, none of the US military bases in the region, whether Arab or non-Arab, will be safe. He also said that the Zionist regime is also not safe from the consequences of this conflict, and it will also push the region and the world towards economic and political collapse.
Meanwhile, Seyyed Jafar Javed, an expert on social issues, referring to Iran's position in the region and the Islamic world, said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is not only a regional and Asian power, but also a great stronghold for Islam, as its continuous support for Palestine is a clear example of this fact." He continued by warning about the consequences of any possible conflict between Iran and the United States, stating that a war between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States would have adverse effects on the region and the world, especially Afghanistan. Javed described the United States as an "arrogant and colonialist" country, adding that this country has always been trying to dominate different countries, and emphasized that today Iran is standing against these hegemonic policies, and the final victory will certainly be the Iranian nation's. This social activist considered America's internal weakness a major obstacle to any military action against Iran, adding that America is unable to carry out its threats due to internal crises. He also pointed out Iran’s military capabilities and stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has resisted sanctions for the past four decades and has today become a powerful country with high military and missile capabilities. Javid concluded by pointing out that the United States has been trying to implement a new world order for years and has invaded Islamic countries such as Iraq and Afghanistan for this purpose. He emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran has become a barrier to America’s evil plans today and will not allow this scenario to be realized in the region and the world.
