Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: In an interview with AVA, military expert Sediq Shinwari pointed out the destructive and devastating consequences of the war between India and Pakistan, saying: Historical experiences have shown that war does not bring any benefits and has not had a winner anywhere in the world so far.
According to him, a war between the two neighboring countries, India and Pakistan, will have negative political, security and economic consequences for the parties to the conflict as well as the surrounding countries.
According to Shenvari, the current situation in the region is inflamed and sensitive, and any military conflict or continuation of the war will worsen the situation and the scope of the war may expand and spread to other countries.
He also pointed out the role of some countries, including Turkey, Azerbaijan and the Zionist regime, in supporting the conflicting parties and said: The role of regional powers in supporting or preventing a war between India and Pakistan is decisive in such circumstances. Therefore, countries should pursue a mediating role and refrain from supporting a specific party that would lead to an escalation of the war.
According to this military affairs expert, the Islamic Republic of Iran has taken the lead in this regard, and Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the country's Foreign Minister, has met with officials from both countries to reduce tensions. However, these measures are not enough, and other countries should also intervene and prevent the region from falling further into a crisis of insecurity.
In his opinion, instead of unilateral support, countries such as Turkey and Azerbaijan should encourage both sides to make peace and stop the war and ask them to use diplomatic solutions to solve existing problems; otherwise, the region will face unpredictable chaos.
The consequences of the war between India and Pakistan are more dangerous than one might think
Meanwhile, Ahmad Khan Andar, another military expert, in an interview with AVA, considered the war between India and Pakistan to have a historical precedent and added: Border and geographical problems are one of the main reasons for these tensions, which have repeatedly caused military conflicts between the two countries.
According to him, now that these two countries are equipped with nuclear weapons, any type of military conflict will have dangerous and unimaginable consequences. He warned that if the United Nations and the world's superpowers do not intervene to stop this war, the conflicts will turn into a bloody regional war.
Mr. Andar believes that a war between India and Pakistan will create political, security, economic and geographical problems, but in the meantime, Afghanistan will suffer the most.
He also criticized the unilateral support of some countries from a certain side and said: Some countries are accelerating the war between the two countries with unilateral support, and this is not only against all international laws and standards, but also incompatible with human logic.
According to Andar, the war between the two countries of India and Pakistan will not end in the interests of any of the parties, even their supporters; rather, the escalation of the war will create many problems in the region and the world.
New attacks by India and Pakistan on each other's positions
These statements are made at a time when, according to published reports, the war between India and Pakistan has entered a new phase. The Pakistani army spokesman announced that the Indian army targeted the Murid, Nur Khan and Shorkot air bases in Rawalpindi province with long-range missiles this morning, Saturday, May 10.
Stating that all air force equipment remained safe, the Pakistani army spokesman added: "India is escalating tensions in the region and pushing it towards a more intense war; but now it must wait for our response."
He also announced that during the Indian morning attacks, one of the country's army missiles also hit Afghan territory.
On the other hand, the "Geo News" media reported that the Pakistani army has disabled 70 percent of India's power grid by conducting cyber attacks and making it unusable.
Security sources have announced that the "Banyan Marsus" operation was launched in the early hours of the morning in response to the Indian attacks, and during it, a "Fatah-1" missile was fired towards India. According to the same report, Pakistan has also destroyed the storage facilities of Brahmos missiles in Beas and the Pathankot airfield.
The aim of the "Banyan Marsus" operation is to attack important and vital Indian military infrastructure. According to these sources, the Indian air base in Udhampur was also targeted with three missiles.
Pakistani political and military leaders have announced that if the Indian attacks continue, they will target more important and valuable targets in the country.
