Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Emirate and the withdrawal of American forces from the country approaches, today (Sunday, August 10), political experts in an interview with the Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) considered ensuring nationwide security, maintaining the stability of the Afghani currency, and implementing development projects to be among the important achievements of the Islamic Emirate.
Salim Pegir, a political expert, said in an interview with AVA, referring to the four-year performance of the Islamic Emirate: “Ensuring nationwide security has been one of the most important achievements of this government.”
He added that numerous efforts have also been made in the economic field, including major development projects such as the Qosh Tepe project and other development programs. He also emphasized that the country’s self-sufficiency in producing more than 22 domestic goods is another prominent achievement of the Islamic Emirate in the economic field.
According to Pegir, despite the freezing of the country’s people’s assets abroad and its negative impact on the economy, the Islamic Emirate has been able to manage the Afghani currency exchange rate properly and prevent a sharp increase in the dollar price.
He considered another important achievement of this government to be recognition by the Russian Federation, saying that the international community has not yet fulfilled its responsibilities towards the people of the country.
The follower noted that after more than four decades of war, this land deserves the help and cooperation of all countries in the world, but so far this help has not been provided to the expected extent and through global mechanisms.
Najib-ur-Rahman Shamal, an expert in international relations, says that in the past four years, the country has witnessed the provision of relative security, which has led a number of countries to maintain their relations at the embassy, consulate, and political and economic cooperation levels. He emphasized that these measures have been effective to some extent in resolving the country's problems.
He also added that the Islamic Emirate has not yet been able to exit the guardianship state and form a government in accordance with the wishes of the people and the international community.
Shamal also pointed out the issue of the lack of recognition of the Islamic Emirate by the international community and other countries, and considered it an important factor in the slowdown of political and economic relations and the decline in the international community's trust in this system.
