Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The fourth anniversary of the fall of the Republic and the victory of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, approaches, political experts discussed and examined in this week's AVA talk show on Monday, Aug 11, the factors behind the fall of the Republic, America's defeat, and the victory of the Islamic Emirate and the people of Afghanistan.
In this program, Dr. Mohammad Akram Azimi, a university professor and political analyst, considered a historic day for the people of Afghanistan and said: "On this day, great empires such as Alexander the Great, England, Russia and finally America were defeated in Afghanistan; a great victory for the people of Afghanistan."
Referring to the conditions for countries to be recognized in international law, he considered these conditions to include independence, a specific territory, national security and internal stability, and added: "The Islamic Emirate has all these conditions."
According to him, one of the reasons for the US and the West's opposition to recognizing the Islamic Emirate is the name "Islamic Emirate" and the military rule under the title "Islamic."
Dr. Azimi considered the second obstacle to be the accusations of Western countries about the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan and said: "This accusation is being made while the Islamic Emirate has not only rejected this claim, but is also fighting fiercely against ISIS and similar terrorist groups."
He stated that another excuse given by the West in opposing recognition is the restriction of girls’ education, adding: “If the education of girls and women at higher levels is resumed within the framework of an Islamic environment, a large part of these excuses will be eliminated.”
Azimi, referring to the reasons for Russia’s positive approach towards the Islamic Emirate, considered the anti-arrogance spirit and the current government’s serious measures in confronting terrorist groups affiliated with the US, UK and the Zionist regime to be the cause of this, and said: “Why do ISIS bullets always target Muslims, but since its inception, not a single bullet has been fired at the Israeli occupation regime?”
Referring to the admission of defeat in Afghanistan by American officials, he said: “For example, General Mark Milley, the US Army Chief of Staff, has accepted America’s defeat and explained the reasons for it in an interview with the United Press.”
Azimi considered the Doha Agreement a scenario for managing public opinion and concealing America's failure, adding: "America implemented this agreement to cover up its failure and create a superficial reputation for itself."
This political expert described the main reasons for the fall of the republic as "the lack of political legitimacy, the unprecedented growth of administrative corruption, the spread of moral corruption, and the absence of a nation-building and state-building process," adding: "The only way to save the country is to deepen the spirit of national unity and the proper management of natural resources, especially watersheds."
Continuing the discussion, Hojatoleslam Walmuslimin Sayed Hashim Javadi Balkhabi, head of the Council for the Resolution of Conflicts of Nomads and Villagers, referred to the main motivations of the Afghan Mujahideen during the 45 years of jihad, considering the preservation of the religious and spiritual values of the people as the most important factor and said: “The faithful people of Afghanistan, with the spirit of independence and autonomy, were never deceived by the material promises of Western countries and after years of struggle, they achieved true freedom.”
He added: “During the republican era, although Islamic slogans were raised, the actions were often based on Western and atheistic values. For this reason, the scholars and the people considered the society to be occupied, and the Mujahideen resisted the military, cultural, intellectual and ideological invasions of the West led by the United States.”
Balkhabi considered the lifting of the freeze on Afghan assets as the inalienable right of the people and emphasized: “If there was a fair court, it should not only demand material damages for the twenty years of the US and NATO presence, but also the blood of each martyr from the perpetrator countries.”
Referring to the heavy price that the martyrs and veterans have paid for Afghanistan’s independence, he said: “These sacrifices cannot be measured by material standards.”
He called on the people to demand financial and human losses by preparing a complaint against the aggressor countries led by the US.
Balkhabi described the delay of neighboring countries in recognizing the Islamic Emirate as “the irresponsibility of Islamic countries” and added: “If the Afghan mujahideen had not thwarted the Soviet and American plans in this region, Afghanistan would have become a tool for the colonial powers to achieve their goals.”
