Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: As the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Hassan Mujtaba (AS) approaches, this week's program "Construction Dialogue" of the Center for Cultural and Social Activities of Tebyan Afghanistan was held yesterday, Monday (19 Asad 1405), with the theme "The Secret of Liberating Humans from Internal and External Arrogance Based on the Life of the Infallible Imams (AS)".
In this meeting, Professor Toriyali Hemmat, knowledgeable about religious and political issues, citing the teachings of the Holy Quran, considered Muslim unity a divine duty and division as forbidden, and said that God Almighty has introduced all Muslims as brothers of each other and called them to unity and solidarity.
He added that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a mercy for the worlds and Muslims should follow the life of the Prophet, the Ahlul Bayt (AS), the Companions and the Rightly Guided Caliphs in order to strengthen brotherhood, peaceful coexistence and the unity of the Islamic Ummah.
According to Hemmat, Imam Hassan Mujtaba (AS) sacrificed his rights and position to preserve the unity of the Islamic community and preferred the higher interests of Islam over personal interests; an issue that can be a model for Muslims in the current situation.
This expert called religious and political issues, inciting religious fanaticism, and sowing discord among Islamic sects among the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam, and emphasized that the majority of the fundamental beliefs of Muslims are common and that jurisprudential and minor differences should not lead to prejudice, discrimination, and hostility.
He also stated that the enemies of Islam exploit the smallest differences to create a rift among the Islamic nation, adding: Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran has played an active role in supporting the people of Gaza and Palestine, regardless of religious differences, and this support is a major part of its confrontation with America and the Zionist regime.
Referring to the teachings of the Quran, Hemmat noted that the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) called on Muslims to be kind to each other and to stand against the enemies of Islam, but today in many cases these standards have been reversed and some Muslims behave harshly towards each other, while showing leniency towards the enemies of Islam.
He considered the criterion of excellence in Islam to be piety and piety, and said that ethnicity, race, language and other worldly affiliations are not the criteria for human value, and that true following of the divine prophets and infallible Imams (PBUH) is not limited to holding ceremonies and mourning, but must also be done in practice to stand against oppression and arrogance.
According to Professor Hemmat, the Shiites who beat themselves but do not resist the infidels, not only do they not have any resistance, but they are friends with them, and the Sunnis who hold the Milad-un-Nabi meetings but provide a base for the infidels to use their land against their religious brothers (Iran and Palestine) and provide their media to the infidels; not only do they not act according to the command of the Holy Quran, but they act contrary to the verse of the Holy Quran and the command of Allah Almighty, and their claim to be Islamic is highly questionable?
Continuing this meeting, Seyyed Mudassar Fazelpour, an expert on religious and political issues, stated that the ultimate goal of the mission of the divine prophets is to spread knowledge, understanding and awareness in society, and said that the Holy Quran places the greatest emphasis on education and learning, and that the liberation of mankind from ignorance, deviation and misguidance is possible in the light of knowledge and revealed teachings.
He added that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) turned a society plagued by ignorance into a great power in the region and the world by relying on knowledge, faith and unity, and today Afghanistan also needs extensive investment in the field of science and education to achieve progress and authority.
Referring to the example of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) in creating empathy among different strata of the society of Medina, Fazelpour called on the Islamic Emirate, scholars and elites of the country to provide the basis for greater cohesion in the society by strengthening the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity.
He also emphasized that the captivity of man to sensual desires, like the domination of external arrogance, has harmful consequences for the society and added that the experience of occupying Afghanistan showed that the domination of arrogant powers has resulted in nothing but the spread of social and moral harm and backwardness of the country.
