Forming national movement backed by religious groups; the sole way to save Afghanistan
Kabul, (AVA)- Talking about the confusions about the peace process in Afghanistan, HIVM Seyyed Eisa Hosseini Mazari, the religious-political expert, told Fars News Agency since the oppositions and Afghan government are not independent, a widespread peace is not expected to be implemented.

The main problems in peace process are no clear position taken by Taliban and foreign interferences.

Forming national movement backed by religious groups and supporting the government by people and religious leaders are the sole ways to save Afghanistan from deadlock, the head of Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) said.

The full interview text is as below:

Fars: Regarding the recent Taliban and government meeting revealing the opposition willingness toward Afghanistan peace process, do Taliban really share in peace process?

Mazari: the Afghanistan government has opened the door for all movement interested in engaging in Afghanistan independence and sovereignty by 2014 but there are some agents create obstacle to peace process.

Another problem ahead of peace process is Taliban and other oppositions including 2 or more anti-government groups are not clearly distinguished meaning that if one opposition group sits on the talk table, another group will be formed to oppose the government and reject their talks.

Afghanistan circumstances are changed by regional and international interferences and some countries like Pakistan is against peace in Afghanistan so they refuse to cooperate with Afghanistan seriously.

Besides Pakistan and foreign countries in Afghanistan may form other groups against Afghanistan government if a group of Taliban try to joint peace process.

Security, peace and stability would be brought to Afghanistan if foreign countries in Afghanistan put their efforts in improving the people livelihood.

Fars: Considering the Taliban representatives comments of not recognizing the Afghan government in Paris meeting and the government reaction after meeting, has Afghanistan encountered new challenge in peace process?

Mazari: The peace process has been dealing with challenges. There is no need hold such meeting outside of Afghanistan since Afghanistan has parliament, economic, military, political organizations and a great number of religious and political activists.

Fars: How can the Afghan government persuaded Taliban to talk while the government is kept at bay?

Mazari: Due to not being independent, the government can not regulate the internal affairs. I believe if the government had sufficient power to deal with oppositions according to its religious and national interests, Afghanistan would not be drown in the world of crisis.

Fars: Taliban declared in Paris meeting that the foreign troops should leave Afghanistan but signal the U.S to have direct talks. Why is there contradictory in Taliban position?

Mazari: The main problems in peace process are no clear position taken by Taliban and foreign interferences.

Taliban blame the government of dependency but they themselves act as puppet of regional and international powers. A good example of this is the Pakistan prime minister saying that Taliban is formed by U.S. and England willingness, Saudi Arabia fund and Pakistan execution. So the Afghanistan should go according to the foreign countries interests.

Fars: Regarding your points about the Afghanistan peace process, how do you assess its outlook?

Mazari: Peace and stability will be never brought to Afghanistan unless the national, religious figures and people are engaged in Afghanistan destiny.
