Aid Amount Increases For Undocumented Returnees
General Deputy for IOM, during a trip in Afghanistan in a meeting with MoRR minister said; the OIM increases it’s aids to returnees who are undocumented

 Afghan Voice Agency(AVA), Mrs. Laura Tam son, General Deputy of IOM said, In the past at Turkham border Nangarhar province 10 to 15 percents of vulnerable returnees were being assisted, but now it’s increased to over 90 percents.

The IOM general deputy which she had traveled to Nangarhar province yesterday, says a welcome center for Afghan Refugees at Turkham border is opened and now it has more capacity to serve returnees better.

The Minister for MoRR, Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi, in addition of welcoming the IOM general deputy to Afghanistan, appreciated from IOM for its services provided for refugees and returnees, also the minister asked  the IOM for more aids to refugees and returnees.

The minister for MoRR said; after closing the Islam Qala border, 3 to 44 thousands of Afghan refugees return or are deported to the country from Iran by Milak border in Nimroz province, which 40 to 50 percents of them are needed to be assisted, according to the minister, the level or percentage of humanitarian assistant in Milak border is low, that is why he asked more assistants for returnees at Milak border.

Also the minister for MoRR asked the IOM to cooperate at the issue of creating Data Center in the ministry and providing more for returnees from EU countries. The IOM general deputy promised that for increasing the assistant in Milak border we will find donors and share this information with them
