Some Members of Parliament (MPs) strongly denouncing the Trump’s decision of recognizing Jerusalem or Bait-al-Maqdis as Israel’s Capital have urged the United Nations to hold urgent meeting in order to pick up steps toward cancellation of the decision.

AVA- The MPs further described that the U.S. new decision will seriously endanger the global security and Muslims’ first Qibla, Bait-al-Maqdis, need to be freed.

All Afghan MPs stood up in protest against the new decision of the U.S. president and issued a statement.

“The U.S. should not play with the feelings of Muslims. Bait-al-Maqdis is not acceptable as Israel’s Capital for any Muslim. The Muslims will firmly stand against the U.S,” said Sarwar Osmani, an MP from Farah province.

“Bait-al-Maqdis is Muslim’s first Qibla. Trump’s decision is inhuman and against of international law. It puts the U.S. against Islamic countries and a decision need to be made regarding this action of the U.S.,” said Mullah Tarakhil Mohammadi, a Kuchi member of the parliament.

Abdul Qayom Sajadi, another MP further denounced Trumps’ decision of recognizing Bait-al-Maqdis or Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital and expressed that as violation of international laws urging UN to hold urgent meeting for cancellation of the decision.
