Second radio station attacked in Afghanistan's Ghor in a month

Armed men set on fire a local radio station overnight in Afghanistan's central Ghor province, second radio station to be attacked in the province in less than a month.


AVA- Attackers fled after targeting Sadai Adalat radio station, Abdul Hai Khatibi, a spokesman for provincial governor, said. Images showed the radio station with its equipment burnt.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. The official said that there was no arrest yet in connection with the attack.

Sadai Adalat was established ۱۴ years ago as first radio station in Ghor.

Abdul Salam Samim, editor-in-chief of the broadcaster, confirmed the attack on the outlet.

The attack on the radio station comes nearly a month after unknown men targeted Radio Sarhad in the province.
