Over 160 female and male athletes participated in Bamiyan Winter Games
Over one hundred and sixty male and female athletes participated in the Winter Games in central Bamiyan province of Afghanistan.
AVA- According to the provincial officials, the athletes had travelled from the six different provinces to Bamiyan province for the games.

The Winter Games were organized on Friday and Saturday with the athletes participating from Maidan Wardak, Kabul, Parwan, Bamiyan, Ghazni, and Panjshir provinces.

Nasrullah Esmati, Mohammad Ali Orfan, and Boman Ali won the first, second, and third spots in skiing.

In the female skiing competitions, Fatima Nazari secured the first position, Rehana Mohammadi second, and Zakia Mohamamd third position.

In the meantime, Nazarullah Alizada won the first position in men’s snow board, Mustafa Karbalayi won second position, and Surosh Sakhi was placed third.

In curling games, Zainab Rezaye won the first position, Farina Ahmadi second, and Zakia Mohammadi third position.

According to the local officials, the games were organized in Band-e-Amir national park and Qarghatoo of Bamiyan.
