Taliban have seized Anar Dara district in Afghanistan's western province of Farah, an official confirmed Monday.

Naser Mehri, a spokesman for provincial governor, who confirmed the collapse, declined to detail on casualties.
Residents said that militants started burning some government buildings after the seizure.
