The official emphasized on Turkey’s investment in areas including energy, health, construction, infrastructure and technology in Afghanistan.
Suleyman Ciliv, chairman of Turkish Chamber of Commerce, cited security problem in Afghanistan, but he stressed on the importance of foreign investment in the country.
Turkey’s investment in Afghanistan is mostly in the area of construction.
It is actively engated in the training of Afghan security forces in providing logistical assistance to other international forces.
A week ago, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim visited Kabul reaffirming continued support to Afghanistan in the areas of counter-terrorism, trade and defense.
