NDS arrest kidnapper and murderer of a child in Nangarhar province

AVA- The provincial government media office in a statement said the perpetrator was arrested from the vicinity of the 4th police district of Jalalabad city by the Afghan intelligence operatives.

The statement further added that the detained individual, Jalil, had kidnapped and murdered a child in this province last year.

According to the governor’s office, Jalil was operating in a gang led by Khan Zaman who also famous as Haji Baba.

At least ten members of the group were arrested after the brutal of the child last year, the statement said, adding that Jalil had managed to flee the area after committing the murder.

The provincial government media office also added that the victim Naqibullah was murdered despite the gang members had received a ransom for his release.

Jalil has confessed that he kept Naqib in his custody for a period of at least four months and subsequently murdered the child after his comrades received the money from the father of the victim.
