Afghan forces thwart deadly bomb explosion in Kabul
The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) thwarted a deadly bomb explosion in capital Kabul by discovering and defusing a homemade improvised explosive device from a shrine.
AVA- The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials are saying that the improvised explosive device was discovered from a shrine in Chahar Asiab district.
The officials further added that the bomb was planted in Qala-e-Jarnil shrine and was defused before the militants manage to use for a deadly blast.
The anti-government armed militant and terrorist groups including Taliban group have not commented regarding the report so far.
This comes as the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials said Sunday that a remote-controlled improvised explosive device was discovered from the 5th police district of the city before the militants manage to detonate it.
The officials further added that the explosives were planted on a roadside and was successfully defused at around 7 am local time today.
Earlier, the Afghan National Police (ANP) forces have thwarted three back to back explosions in different parts of the capital as part of their ongoing efforts to foil the destructive plots being hatched by the anti-government armed elements.
